U.S. Army Test and Evaluation Command, Aberdeen, Maryland
Integrated Air and Missile Defense (IAMD)

The IAMD program is structured to enable the development of an overarching system-of-systems capability with all participating Air and Missile (AMD) components functioning interdependent to provide total operational capabilities not achievable by the individual element systems.

IDA Technology is a leader in planning and reporting on the performance of the Army's Integrated Air and Missile Defense (IAMD) System of Systems (SoS) within a joint environment, to include embedded computers, related software and communications architectures during development and operational testing. We played a major role in the planning of the entire scope of the evaluation; assumptions, approaches, techniques and analyses to be applied, problems involved and their solutions. We expertise was critical in supporting the development of the operational Design of Experiments approach, and we provided technical analyses and evaluation of data from a wide variety of sources (e.g., war games, models and simulations, missile flight tests). We analyzed completed evaluations to validate the approach, assumptions, and techniques and methods used, and to verify evaluation results.

Fort Bliss, Texas
Facilities Support Services

IDA Technology provided the day-to-day management, operational and maintenance support for over 14,000 rooms (living quarters) spread over 25 square miles on Fort Bliss under the First Sergeants Barracks Program. Support services were provided to over 15,000 soldiers and their unit leadership on a 24x7, 365 days per year basis. This service included coordinating approximately 1,600 appointments per month to assign and terminate soldiers from their rooms. Concurrent with this activity, IDA was responsible for the management of nearly 30,000 electronic and physical keys for all assigned rooms across the Post. IDA had the additional responsibility of providing minor maintenance services for all assigned rooms to include servicing lighting systems, floor and wall repairs and spot painting. In addition, IDA successfully migrated 14,000 active data files, containing sensitive personal information from a legacy database system to a new online file management system.

IDA also created and incorporated several quality control measures and processes to meet and exceed contract compliance measures. IDA created a quality control system that analyzed and evaluated employee efforts, physical records and online soldier files across the entire operation. The QC program provided significant and measurable increases in performance.
